Art print
Giclee printing, also called modern lithography, is a method used in graphic art. The method is based on the motif being printed in high quality on canvas or watercolor paper. Giclée is known for its clear and crisp colors and sharp motifs. The method requires certified equipment and is printed with water-based inks in at least 9 colors.
Most prints are made with the classic four CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Key) colors, where Faun & Luna's Giclée art prints are created with twelve different colors.

The Paper
All Faun & Luna's products are printed on Hahnemühle 210 gsm fine art paper. The paper itself has a certified shelf life of over 100 years, which means that each individual print can be kept for generations. The paper is chosen based on its beautiful texture and is made of 50% cotton and 50% alpha-cellulose. The paper is acid-free with a pH value between 7.5 and 9.5.
This means that Faun & Luna's art prints are quality assured to last for more than a hundred years and can thus be kept for generations; The perfect gift for birthdays, baptisms, and other important moments in the child’s life.
